Young adult author Jeanne Bannon of Beyond Words has invited me to stop by her blog today to talk about how to find the perfect agent or editor for your book. As part of the post we'll be giving away a free critique of someone's query letter or first 250 pages.
Jeanne's debut book, Invisible, is scheduled for release later this year by Solstice Publishing. Stay tuned, because in a few weeks Jeanne will be stopping by for a book review and author interview. And if you haven't had an opportunity to visit Jeanne's blog, you're in for a treat, as her posts are well written and filled with heart. Hope to see you there!
WHAT'S NEXT ON THE GUEST POST HORIZON
On Thursday YA fantasy/paranormal romance author Theresa Milstein of Substitue Teacher's Saga will be kicking off a series of guest posts on Bird's-eye View. She'll be talking about how to get blog comments to really work for you.
Aug. 6 I'm scheduled to appear on Laura Barnes' blog, Laura B Writer, as part of her new Saturdays series called Savvy Sensations. It will be a chance to get a little unplugged and talk about the more personal side of my writing career.
Aug. 8 I'm scheduled to appear on Marcie Bridges' blog, The Incredible Shrinking Woman. We'll be talking about whether it's wise to post online snippets from the book you're writing.
Then on Aug. 11 urban fantasy author Alexia Chamberlynn of The Life and Literary Pursuits of Alexia Chamberlynn will be stopping by Bird's-eye View to share secrets for staring a newsletter for your followers and readers.
Ending the month on a high note will be Marcie Bridges' Aug. 25 guest post about how to write young adult memoirs.
And keeping things hot through September will be Francine Howarth on Sept. 8 with tips for formatting your books on Kindle and Laura Barnes on Sept. 22 with her top 10 favorite tools for authors.
I hope you're as excited about this line up as I am. Wishing you a great weekend!
